Die kalifornische Photo-Schau photo l.a.findet vom 12. bis 16. Januar 2012 wieder an ihrem alten Ort statt, dem Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Zum 21. Mal bietet die Ausstellung  Galerien aus der ganzen Welt eine Plattform für die Präsentation von Vintage Meisterwerken und zeitgenössischer Photographie sowie Video- und Multimedia-Installationen.

Die Eröffnungs-Gala findet heute statt, 12. Januar 2012,  von 18.00 bis 21.00 Uhr.

In den vergangenen 21 Jahren hat photo l.a. über 300 Galerien, private Händler und Verlage präsentiert und mehr als 150 Vorträge und Seminare für die öffentlichkeit angeboten.
